LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- U.S. Senate candidates have traded barbs while debating in a Louisville forum held in advance of next May's primary election.

Nine candidates took part in the forum Thursday sponsored by the Kentucky Association of Counties at the Galt House hotel.

The candidates discussed the war on terror, the economy and coal's place in the nation's energy policy.

Secretary of State Trey Grayson and Bowling Green eye surgeon Rand Paul, who are both Republicans, had a testy exchange on the issue of Guantanamo Bay. Grayson claimed that Paul on his Web site supported the closure of Guantanamo Bay. Paul retorted that Grayson needs to learn how to read.

The candidates are running for the seat being vacated next year by Republican Jim Bunning.

A nearly 9 hour standoff came to a disturbing end when police found the badly decomposed body of an elderly woman who had been dead since May.

Her son, Julius Harris, continued to live in the house.

Friday, he was accused of abuse of a corpse and fraud for cashing his dead mother's income checks.

Julius Harris is inside Metro Corrections facing two felony charges, one for abuse of a corpse and the second for cashing his dead mother's income checks.

It’s news that has not only shocked those who knew and loved this woman, but the entire community.

It was a scene no one in this neighborhood ever expected to see, police cars racing to this house on Cypress Drive when a man had a gun to his head. For nearly 9 hours, the man engaged police in a standoff.

At around 2:00 a.m., the man finally came outside and surrendered to police but when officers went inside the house, they made a gruesome discovery, the body of an elderly woman, badly decomposed.

Police say her son, Julius Harris, had been living in the house with his dead mother for 6 months and in that time, had been cashing her income checks.

The news comes as a shock to many who live in the neighborhood who had been trying to check on Sina Harris for months.

"For the past three or four months when I would call he would tell me that she was with some of her friends," said neighbor Loreda Carter.

Mary Maiden said, "I can't believe that its true." And say, she will be missed. "She was a very nice lady and we all, at the block watch, loved her. She was a sweet person," said Maiden.

Harris will be arraigned on the two felony charges Saturday morning.

The End of the Road for SA Sucks

Dear readers, bloggers and fellow Whites

This will be the last of many thousands of posts & articles we at WSAS sweated so much blood & tears to bring you over the years. I am shutting down this ground-breaking blog on Friday 13 November.

As you’re aware, the situation has become utterly untenable. I am no longer willing to put the welfare and safety of my family, and the families of other SA-resident bloggers at risk. It is heart-breaking, and a tough decision I struggled with (but was in denial about) since my arrest and detention last week. Your incredible support really moved me. So did the support of so many other bloggers, friends and comrades, locally as well as overseas.

I know some will call me a coward, a quitter, a yellow-bellied traitor even. So be it. I can no longer look my precious daughters, or my long-suffering wife in the eye, see their fear and sheer terror every time there is a knock on the door and continue to ignore it. I am torn between on the one hand my duty as a father & husband to ensure the safety and security of my gorgeous family, and on the other my duty & loyalty to my magnificent, beautiful White race.

It really hurts like hell that the worst betrayals came from within our own ranks. Not that I am a stranger to it either - over the past four years of this blog’’s existence, we’ve had to fend off far more vicious attacks from those on the right claiming to be our racial brethren, than any number of sellouts, liberals or misguided & brainwashed race traitors spouting their pre-programmed propaganda memes on this forum.

The SA Sucks blog was symptomatic of a wider phenomenon: that of Whites throwing off the oppressive chains of political correctness and needless guilt. As the race which spearheaded civilization, technology, art, music and ‘high culture’ we have so much to be proud of. South Africa was a glittering beacon in a sea of African darkness, now it is rapidly fading away. Internationally the pendulum is swinging to the right as our people’s infatuation with multi-culturalism turns into apprehension, disgust and finally, rejection. Lets hope our racial awakening is not too late. Sadly in SA, it is.

The rise of the internet rates on par in our history with the invention of Gutenberg’s printing press. It broke the media choke-hold on our minds, and became a tool with which we can set ourselves free from the endless demands of the parasite races leeching off our decency and artificially, needlessly instilled guilt.

The closure of SA Sucks is not the end of the world - excellent websites and blogs already exist where you can continue to read uncensored, hard-hitting news, commentary and insights. I implore you, dear reader to support especially those we have linked to. I also implore you to take the baton from us, go forth and create your own blogs and websites. Please carry on the momentum, and learn from the foolish mistakes I made. Trust nobody, guard your online identity with your life, and above all, stay true to your heritage.

As the Negros in America have their proverbial “Uncle Toms”, so we dwinding Whites in SA have our “Uncle Freds”. Watch out for them, guard against them and remember the prophetic words of Cicero:

As of last week, I entered a rather forboding, dark and grim phase of my life and what the future holds is suddenly quite uncertain. Pandora’s box opened rather abruptly last Wednesday. The endless death threats to my family are no longer limited to my email and comments pages, but are now trickling through our home & cell phones. Although I always considered it an extremely remote, paranoid possibility that my door would be kicked down as it was, I never really expected it to come to that.

If you’re still in SA, please heed the message of this blog since its inception - get out, get out get out, while you still can! You’re not “running away”. You are carrying out the only rational, logical option open to you. This ship is sinking fast, either you jump or go down with it. Secondly, depriving the murderous parasites of your brains, your skills, your taxes, your participation in what formerly was a fantastic country to live in, will not only set you free - it is also the ultimate sanction - depriving the parasites of a host. Let them have their land, and their renamed towns, their crumbling roads, cities, collapsing power utilities, schools, hospitals, their corruption and their savagery. Shrug Atlas, shrug!

Three Prized University of Tennessee Niggerballers Busted For Being Bull-Niggers

KNOXVILLE — Three University of Tennessee football players and a female companion are in the Knox County Detention Facility this morning on charges of attempted armed robbery.

Janzen Jackson, Mike Edwards and Nu’Keese Richardson, all 18, were charged this morning after an armed robbery attempt at a Pilot station on Cumberland Avenue, according to the Knoxville Police Department.

Each player and the woman face three counts of attempted armed robbery. The woman also faces drug charges.

UT athletic director Mike Hamilton released a statement this morning about the episode.

“At this time we are currently evaluating the circumstances surrounding an incident involving Mike Edwards, Janzen Jackson and Nu’Keese Richardson,” Hamilton said. “Any decisions or comments regarding their status will not be made until the evaluations are complete.”

Both Richardson and Jackson are coming off a week in which they faced discipline from coach Lane Kiffin, the former for missing a practice and the latter for a violation of team rules.

Kiffin has touted the discipline in his program and a clean arrest record as recently as Wednesday’s SEC teleconference.

Richardson is a 5-foot-10. 165-pound wide receiver from Pahokee, Fla. Jackson is a 6-foot, 174-pound defensive back from Lake Charles, La. Edwards is a 5-10 defensive back from Cleveland, Ohio.

According to KPD spokesman Darrell DeBusk, the incident began at 1:43 a.m. at the Pilot station, 2218 Cumberland Ave., when officers were alerted to an armed robbery in progress.

When officers arrived, they found Corey B. Zickefoose, 20, Benjamin J. Everett, 19 and Corey M. Smith, 18, claiming to have been accosted by two men wearing black hoodies.

The trio told officers they were sitting in a 1998 Hyundai Elantra at the convenience store while a friend was inside the business. As they waited for their friend, a man opened the driver’s door, brandished a handgun and stated, “Give me everything you have,” DeBusk said.

A second man also wearing a black hoodie then opened the passenger door of the Hyundai and reiterated to the trio, “Give us everything you’ve got,” DeBusk said.

The victims said they showed the two men their empty wallets and said they had no money. A third man then approached the car and told the other two men in hoodies, “We’ve got to go,” DeBusk said.

The three men got into a 2010 Toyota Prius driven by a woman and fled the area.

Officers stopped the car on Neyland Drive near Leinard Lane after it had been seen near Gibbs Halls.

Police found Edwards, Richardson and Jackson in the car, which was driven by Marie Montmarquet, 22, DeBusk said.

A search of the Prius revealed a air-powered pellet pistol under the rear seat. Two black hoodies were seen in plain view in the back seat, DeBusk said.

In the car’s glove box police found a marijuana grinder, a device to break chunks of compressed marijuana into loose particles so that it can be more easily smoked. Police found a clear plastic bag of suspected marijuana in Montmarquet’s jacket pocket, DeBusk said.

Montmarquet told police the pot grinder and pot found in her jacket belonged to her, DeBusk said. Along with the three counts of attempted armed robbery, she also was charged with simple possession of pot and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held this morning in jail in lieu of $119,000 bond.

The suspects were taken to the Pilot station where the three victims identified Edwards and Richardson as the two men in black hoodies who demanded their wallets.

Richardson and Edwards were being held on a $19,500 bond each. Jackson was held in lieu of $15,000 bond.

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - All Louisville Metro Police are asking for your help in finding a man who is considered armed and dangerous and is believed to have shot a man.

Police are looking for 26-year-old Victor Cartagena Ortiz. He is wanted on attempted murder, wanton endangerment, stalking and violation of a protective order.

Police say he shot a man on November 1st in the 5900 block of Midnight Lane. The man was friends with Ortiz's estranged wife.

"The shooting was very serious and the suspect was threatening to kill the victim and given that he threatened suicide, it’s possible that the risk has increase. Otherwise he maybe someone with nothing to lose," says Anne Hogan of LMPD.

Ortiz is known to be in the area of Indian Trail in Louisville and in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

If you have any information about his whereabouts, you are urged to call police anonymously at 574-LMPD.

Fort Campbell soldier and her civilian husband are dead in an apparent murder-suicide

OAK GROVE — A Fort Campbell soldier and her husband are dead in an apparent murder-suicide in Oak Grove, Ky., police said.

Emergency dispatchers received a call at about 2:09 p.m. Friday from a man who said he shot his wife and needed medical assistance, Oak Grove Police Cpl. Vincent Brown said.

The husband said he would wait for help in the back bedroom of his home with his wife’s body, Brown said.

Police arrived at the home at 117 Gail St. in about two minutes and found a man and a woman dead in the bedroom, Brown said. He said the man had apparently shot himself with a hand gun.

The couple's two boys, ages 4 and 6, were in the home at the time of the shooting but were not harmed, police said.

Brown said police don't know if the children witnessed the shooting. He said they were making arrangements with family members to care for the boys.

Oak Grove is a few miles east of Fort Campbell, near the Tennessee line.

The woman is a soldier at Fort Campbell and the man is a civilian, police said. Their names were not released.

The Leaf-Chronicle in Clarksville, Tenn., reported that the man had been in the military, but Brown said he could not confirm that.

Police had responded at least once to a domestic dispute between the couple, Brown said.

Christian County Coroner Michael Stokes said the man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene, and autopsies are scheduled for Saturday morning in Madisonville.

A spokeswoman for Fort Campbell, Capt. Kymberley Jurado, confirmed that a female soldier stationed there had been killed in an incident off the post but declined to give any other information.

Neighbor Matt Edgett said he was working on his car a few houses from the couple’s house when he heard what could have been a muffled gunshot.

He said he wasn’t fazed by the sound, thinking the noise came from fireworks or from nearby Fort Campbell.

Police arrest step-father for murder of S. Indiana girl

WHAS11 has learned more about a how a Southern Indiana teenager died, and State Police say it was her step-father who killed her. News of his arrest came late this afternoon.

Typically at a press conferences it is just the press, but enough people have been affected by this brutal murder that a small crowd gathered outside the courthouse to hear the news.

We also talked to Alexis Oesterle's grandfather today and he said he was afraid something like this would happen.

A pack of TV cameras, police officers, and on-lookers gathered in downtown Rockport, Indiana as authorities announced an arrest in the murder of Alexis Oesterle.

Many in the crowd knew her well like her classmate Justine Hayes, "she was just one of those people you were glad to be around. And it's horrible that someone had the heart to... she was only 15. She didn't even get her driver’s license or get married or anything."

Indiana State Police charged Alexis's step-father with murder. Detectives believe 32 year-old Ryan Shelby cut the teenager's throat before leaving her body behind a shed in the family's backyard, claiming she was missing.

We were on the phone with Alexis's grandfather Jeff Spong as news broke of the arrest. He sighed when we shared the information, saying, "That's the first I've heard."

Spong had just told us about abuse in the house of the young baby Ryan Shelby had with Alexis's mother Jessica. Jeff also says his granddaughter knew about it all. "Alexis was a beautiful person, and my daughter Jessica loved her so much. My daughter has gone through hell down there and no one wanted to help her."

Alexis's friends didn't know things were that serious with her step-father. But Sabrina Winkler saw Ryan Shelby when he and Alexis's mom stopped by her house after Alexis first went missing.

"I could tell he acted weird. Usually when I'm around him he comes up and talks to me and acts nice ,and he didn't come up to my house. He stood by the car the whole time. I just could tell he was acting weird," Sabrina told us.

Now she and a whole community don't know how to behave as they face reality. "It just seems like a nightmare I need to wake up from. She was my best friend," Sabrina remembered.

Alexis's grandfather says authorities told him Alexis had also been beaten in her face; though, her friends say they never saw any signs of previous abuse.

Prosecutors say it's too early to tell if this will be a capital murder case. Shelby will make his first court appearance Thursday morning.

(WHAS11) - It is a case that's left a small town grief stricken and looking for answers.


A 15-year-old girl is dead and her stepfather is now charged with her murder.


The crime happened in Rockport Indiana, which is in Spencer County.


One of Alexis Oesterle's friends says she lied to the media the other day when describing the 15-year-old.


She said Alexis loved everyone but now she's saying that's not true.


There was one person she didn't get along with; her stepfather now charged with her murder.


Facing the possibility of 65 years in prison, Ryan Shelby walked into the Spencer County courthouse calm and quiet.


Shelby was arraigned Thursday morning.


Police say he killed his 15-year-old stepdaughter, Alexis Oesterle.


Her body was found on her family's property. Police say her throat had been cut.


Janine Nieves was friends with Alexis. She showed up at the arraignment wearing a shirt with her friend’s picture.


She says Alexis and her stepfather didn't get along and that Alexis was always outspoken, maybe too much so.


“Thank God they got that little piece of crap, she hated him,” says Nieves.


Alexis’s grandfather says there was on-going abuse of the young baby Ryan Shelby had with Alexis's mother, Jessica and her grandfather says the teen knew about it all.


During Thursday’s arraignment, family and friends cried inside the courtroom while the suspect sat emotionless.


As he made his way back to the county jail, those who loved Alexis could only hold each other.


Ryan Shelby is being held without bond and will be back in court later this month.

I have been called anti-government, anti-Republican, anti-Democrat, anti-Semitic and bigot—just a few of my labels. My politics are anti-big government, anti-IRS, anti-foreign lobbies, anti-socialism and anti-Communism. Truth is, my politics are simply pro-American—period.

Any issue, regardless of the hype or emotions, that is not in the best interest of America, I oppose. I believe in and support the Constitution and our Bill of Rights. Any manipulation of our constitutional mandate is a cardinal sin to me.

I guess I’m old fashioned—in fact I believe that all those new world order politicians are so dumb and misdirected that if they fell out of bed, they’d miss the floor.

I believe this new world order has bankrupted our great nation. We’re bankrupt and the Congress is nothing more than a bunch of trustees presiding over the biggest chapter 11 proceeding in world history.

I don’t know about you but I’m fed up, I’ve had it. I’m sick of gutless politicians who are afraid to do what’s right; afraid to do what’s needed—who follow misdirected policies like lemmings, who have our young men and women engaged in foreign wars of little or no interest to the U.S.A. These same young brave Americans are now being shipped back home in body bags. Distraught, grieving parents receive their bodies while they themselves are losing their jobs and pensions. America is in grave danger, and no one seems to believe it.

The major reason for the average American to be so passive and inactive is quite simple—the mainstream media of the U.S.A. distorts the truth—withholds the truth—and in many instances is controlled and influenced by foreign entities. I even question the loyalties and politics of some of their owners and publishers.

I read the mainstream print medium with much skepticism. Quite frankly, I don’t trust the major newspapers. I do not believe their propaganda. It should be of no surprise to know of my support for AMERICAN FREE PRESS, even though I may disagree with the AFP on some issues. The AFP reports the truth—the unvarnished truth, regardless of the pressures that are brought to bear against them, and there are many.

America needs to be informed—needs to hear and read the whole story, the truth, the facts and the dynamics of political action that secure and protect our freedom. Having said that, I encourage you to subscribe to AFP and read my weekly column. I plan to address the influence and power of AIPAC and its control over our very lives. The reason to abolish the Federal Reserve system; the reason to abolish our Communist progressive income tax; the absolute need to repeal the 16th Amendment to the Constitution; and my proposals to save and create jobs; to stop the hemorrhaging of our federal debt, to reverse our massive trade deficit and stop illegal immigration.

I will also address the issue of John Demjanjuk, who is not being just prosecuted - Demjanjuk and his family are being persecuted, and no one in Washington will help. I plan to help him and will testify in Germany about the crimes in the Justice Department if subpoenaed.

Opponents of mine will snicker and laugh. I predict that. I expect that. But, remember, these are the same nincompoops that have almost destroyed our great republic.

You deserve to hear an opposing view. An American’s view, which happens to be my view. I plan to deliver these views and information.

I ask of you to participate in this struggle to reverse the downward spiral of our great republic. I want you to send me your ideas and suggestions. I believe that America can be saved and, contrary to the propaganda we get out of Washington, this is not brain surgery nor rocket science. In fact, it’s plain old-fashioned common sense, something that is lacking in our nation’s capital.

I charge you with one other task; contact your friends, relatives, co-workers and associates to subscribe to AFP so that our words, ideas and proposals become known by a growing numbers of American citizens.

Which, as far as parties where colorful staining occurs, is probably better than inviting a throng of your closest friends over, accidentally spilling wine all over their finery, and then spending the better part of the next day convincing them that it was a paint party. But Katy Perry's party also sets the stage for a Taylor Swift backlash. Tragic that! Especially considering just how just yesterday, we were remarking on how her unique take on smizing is an approach more beleaguered starlets could replicate in order to save their careers. But after her career sinks, there will always be a place for Swift in Dollywood, serving up chicken nuggets, root beer floats, and singing a Fine Young Cannibals covers.

You see, Swift, who we love best as a victim and not as a woman who can probably hold her liquor and turn some heads with a mean shimmy, was seen cavorting—nay, dancing!—next to a man with a red swastika plastered across his white t-shirt. Quick recap, then: booze, busting moves, proximity to jerk with lack of discretion! Yes, it’s backlash season for Swift now.

Sure, Swift isn’t swastika-clad herself. But as a celebrity whose star is sparkling especially brightly following some incident that we’ve long forgotten that left her looking a lot like those wounded kittens on those Sarah McLachlan-ASPCA commercials, any measure of swastika-proximity is not advisable. Sure, her friend could’ve been douchily paying trendy tribute to any number of Eastern religions. Or maybe he saw the design on a Pokémon trading card and sought to re-create it. But it’s just as likely that this particular party-goer and maybe-friend of Taylor Swift’s is a neo-Nazi.

But this isn’t to say that she’s a strident racist. It’s to say that given pictures from that night, we can forge our own narratives and conclusions and lead to her demise, because celebrities rarely go on the record about such events. Swift probably should’ve paid more attention to wherever she was doing the electric slide and what jerks were within her vicinity. Because given her said swastika-proximity and the rapidly-diminishing common sense of a perpetually unnerved nation, Swift’s fall-out could be non-existent to life-shattering.

A British bishop has been fined €12,000 after a German court found him guilty of denying the Holocaust.

Richard Williamson received a letter today from the court in the Bavarian city of Regensburg informing him that he was being fined for incitement over his claim on Swedish television that fewer than 300,000 Jews died in Nazi death camps.

In the interview, Williamson alleged that Nazi gas chambers had never existed and "only 200,000 to 300,000 Jews" had been killed by the Nazis.

Holocaust denial is classed as a hate crime in Germany and because the interview took place in Regensburg, German prosecutors were allowed to investigate.

The bishop's remarks were made public in January, shortly after Pope Benedict XVI repealed an order made by the previous pope excommunicating Williamson for his rightwing views. Williamson was consecrated a bishop by the pope's Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX), an ultraconservative splinter group.

The outcry was immediate, with both Jews and members of the Catholic hierarchy criticising the pope's rehabilitation of a Holocaust-denier. While condemning Williamson's remarks, the Vatican defended its decision, only saying later that it hadn't known about his very public views about the Holocaust.

Williamson has said through his lawyer that he was assured his offending remarks would not be broadcast in Germany but only in Sweden, where there is no law against Holocaust denial. A Munich newspaper, the Sueddeutsche Zeitung, said prosecutors had received a letter from the Swedish television producers in which they denied offering any assurance to Williamson that the interview, conducted in English, would be broadcast in Sweden only.

Williamson's German lawyer, Matthias Lossmann, said his client had been told to pay €100 a day for 120 days, and he was likely to appeal. If he does, there will be a proper trial in Regensburg, which Williamson will not be forced to attend.

Lossmann told Germany's Focus magazine that the fine – imposed under an "order of punishment", a German legal tool that involves no trial but, if accepted by the defendant, is equivalent to a conviction – was too harsh and that the sentencing authorities had been influenced by the publicity surrounding the case. German law allows a maximum sentence of five years in prison for belittling or denying the Holocaust.

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A Louisville man is behind bars facing a long list of charges after police say he dragged an officer with his car.

34-year-old Byron Blake is charged with attempted murder, assault, DUI and fleeing police, among other charges.

Police say they tried to stop Blake on 7th Street Road and that while stopped Blake refused to exit the vehicle and the officer reached over to remove the keys from the ignition.

That's when Blake allegedly took off and the officer was dragged for about ten feet and the officer was hospitalized.

Blake then continued through a chain link fence and came to a rest in a nearby yard and then fled on foot.

He was arrested after a short struggle with a different officer.

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Police say a New Albany, Indiana man struck four pedestrians on Baxter Avenue and walked away from the scene.

Police have charged 30-year-old Brian Tindall with DUI, assault and reckless driving.

Police say early Sunday morning they responded to the 900 block of Baxter Avenue and spotted Tindall walking away from the scene.

Four pedestrians were struck and had serious injuries from broken bones to head injuries.

A witness says he saw Tindall hit the pedestrians.

When Tindall was arrested police say he admitted to having three beers and a shot of alcohol.

(WHAS11) A man who pretended to be a taxi driver, abducting and assaulting women in the Highlands, will now spend 52 years in prison.

Martin Phillip Jackson was found guilty of kidnapping, assault, fleeing police and operating a taxi without a license.

In May 2007, Jackson abducted and beat up a woman. It happened on Bardstown Road near Akiko’s Karaoke Bar. The prosecutor says Jackson targeted women in their 20’s in the Highlands neighborhood.

Prosecuting attorney Ryane Conroy said, “Obviously, it goes without saying, it’s been traumatic for the victims. Having this sentence imposed helps them move on and we’re glad to be part of that process.”

Prosecutors dismissed a separate case against Jackson from January 2007. That one happened near Flannagan’s Restaurant in the Highlands; where he was also posing as a taxi driver. The commonwealth didn’t want to create undue mental stress on that victim with a possible trial.

But finally, the prosecutor said, there is justice. Jackson could be eligible for parole in about 20 years.

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A University of Louisville engineering student is behind bars after an alleged carjacking in broad daylight Thursday afternoon.

Maytham Khamees, 24, is charged with assault and robbery, after police say he attacked a 51-year-old woman on campus when she asked him for directions.

The woman, who didn't want to be identified, says that she was coming from Indiana to a Christian Women's Conference called AGLOW when she got lost.

She exited I-65 on Arthur Street and drove to Floyd Street, where she pulled over and asked the man for directions. She says she rolled down her window and he leaned in the car, but she didn't realize he was searching for her car door handle.

"I didn't think twice about it," she says. "It was the middle of the afternoon and there were plenty of people around."

She says he quickly jumped in her passenger seat and told her to take him with her. She says she screamed, "Get out of my car! Get out of my car!" and honked the horn to draw attention to her. She says that's when he assaulted her.

She says he beat her head against the steering wheel multiple times. She fought with him, but he eventually pushed her out of the driver's side and took off in the car, dragging her several feet.

When he rounded a corner, police say two tires blew and he took off on foot. Police say they found Khamees under the Warnock and Arthur I-65 overpass.

Police say Khamees confessed to the crime. At his arraignment Friday, he pleaded not guilty. He is being held in jail on a $10,000 bond. He's scheduled to be in court November 2nd.
